It's a Wonderful thing.

Life without the idiot box is truly magnificient! There is truly so much more to be entertained by that that of the mind-numbing, drool-causing box of control. For example, I now have a level 40 Night Elf on World of Warcraft. (LOL).
Off to Never-Never Land.

The Tyra Banks Show 08/01/2007
Thursday, August 2, 2007, 01:29 PM EST [General]
While feeling bored, and awaiting the FPL guys to arrive, I quietly surfed through the Direct TV channels, landing briefly here and there until I found the Tyra Banks show. Normally, I don't watch day time television, but I was drawn into the discussion of hatred.
There was a mother with three beautiful daughters, spewing such vulgarity and filth, yet hiding behind the cross, truly cowards. Their hatred of homosexuals went beyond resason, and in fact was shocking. The mother claimed that the all of the victims of 9-1-1 were "all homosexuals and deserved by the laws of God to die." I guess I have to buy a new T.V. since I threw a book at my old one, and knocked it off of it's stand.
I really feel sorry for people like that. Some of my best friends are gay. We are all connected.
Blessings.

Of Darkness and Light
Monday, July 30, 2007, 08:04 AM EST [General]
The concept of duality prevails in the spiritual teachings of the mystic realm. Finding a path in the darkness does not equate an evil nature. That in itself is simply a remenant of Judeo-Christian philosophy. One cannot be a light or "white" witch, without a thorough understanding of what makes a "dark" witch. To call upon Cerridwen,Kali, or the multitude of other "dark" deities during a time of need, is not evil. It is knowledge.
Personally, I prefer equality. While yes, there are people who commit evil deeds, and spirits which are malicious in nature, there is an abundance of wealth, knowledge and beauty to behold. A tornado is magnificent to watch....from a distance, but it can very well be highly destructive.

I painted my walls today
Thursday, July 26, 2007, 08:56 AM EST [General]
Fingerprints of little children.
Smudges on the wall.
Memories of laughter.
Echos in the hall.
Memories linger.
The print of a little finger.
Covered by the brush stroke.
Still there are little folk.
Bright and shining.
New Blue.
Yet underneath
This latex sheath
Lies the whispers of a child.
